“Stay with it…let the earth fill you…you are the earth…you are the Goddess…you are a single, fluttering eyelash in Her left eye as She lifts her gaze to the stars. Invite the stars into your eyes, Persephone.” Michael lifts his head and slowly opens his tear-flooded eyes to the night sky. The goddesses hold hands and gently sway, side to side, singing their song to Persephone. A small rapturous smile opens Michael’s lips as he absorbs the illumination from the Pleiades star system transmitting directly from above…entering his optical fibres from light years away…

Michael’s arms lift upward to the sky as he starts singing along with their enchanted chorus. He dances up and down in the center of the lateral-swaying circle. Out of the black, a large white owl swoops down from a nearby treetop…hooting as it glides down across the slope. Several feet northwest of the circle, the fire’s rapidly corroding embers crack loud and clear as the moon sails straight overhead.
